The Mississippi Queen and American Queen are currently not sailing in 2009.  The Delta Queen has been decommissioned since it's Coast Guard exemption has expired.   The ships have changed hands several times over the past few years, but this is the first time there has been an interuption in service.  As yet a parent company has not found new owners for these American Classics.

We are not taking reservation at this time, but we are still including people on our newsletter for river cruises.  There are still a few short cruises on other paddle wheelers and we plan to let people know as soon as the Queens are back on the river. 

The Spirit of Peoria is a smaller paddlewheeler that offers 1 and 2 day cruises that you may be interested in as an alternative.  Or for luxury river cruises in Europe check out AMA Waterways.
